About the movement
17 years beside those who need it most
Happy Child started as a volunteer initiative and today it is a non-governmental organisation with dozens of projects, hundreds of partners and thousands of stories of support.
We work with children who have a hard childhood: orphans and graduates of residential institutions, children from families of fallen soldiers, internally displaced families and children of service members.
Help is not only goods and food. It is mentoring, psychological support, medical check-ups, educational activities, trips, celebrations and the everyday feeling that a child matters to someone.
At the same time we supply military brigades, hospitals and children’s institutions — because it is our defenders who keep the sky above children peaceful.
